January 2009 - Investing in new computer systems at a time when the news is all about recession, takes a lot of courage. But Typhoon Housewares, a major supplier of household goods to the leading supermarkets realised that it was of major importance to improve not only their service to their clients but also reduce costs by being more efficient at their central distribution centre. This would enable to ride out the current economic climate and put them in a better position for when things start to improve.

DeltaWMS will also interface to their Great Plains accounts system so that sales and purchase orders can be passed electronically straight into DeltaWMS, and confirmations of receipts and despatches can then be sent back electronically allowing staff at the Head Office to have accurate information on stock positions much quicker, to make the all important sales.
